Finally a good, authentic Chinese restaurant in the Valley. I've been waiting YEARS! We ordered the BBQ pork bao (buns), mapo tofu, walnut shrimp, garlic eggplant (vegetarian), shrimp fried rice, and garlic pork. All were very good, with authentic flavors and big portions. None of that bland dumbed-down Americanized Bamboo BS. The mapo tofu was done with the Sichuan peppercorns that will numb your mouth -- the spiciness is no joke. Their chili oil is also homemade and totally addictive -- I ended up buying my own bottle for $6 to bring home. We will definitely be returning to try out more dishes!
Note: Parking is super easy, plenty of spaces. It does share the space with a liquor store so at night, we saw a couple of sketchy characters. Just something to be aware of. -

This is my absolute favorite spot for Chinese food in the valley. Their Sichuan menu is divine (low key obsessed with their Mapo Tofu) and there are other items that make my mouth water just thinking about them -- they do string beans to perfection. As a vegetarian I haven't sampled the entire menu but their pork belly gets rave reviews. The staff is also super friendly and remember their regulars. I would eat here every day if I could. Seriously.
Also -- they have a great menu of lunch specials. It doesn't include their Sichuan specials, however. The best deal in my opinion is to go with a group and share items. As of June, they're now closed on Tuesdays. -

Ordered Postmates delivery from here. Overall consensus was it's just ok... generally on the blander side. They have a few things I've never tried before so I explored a bit.
Beef Roll - definitely needs the dipping sauce. There's a lot of cilantro inside which I'm not a big fan of, and it overwhelmed the flavor of the beef. The pancake part was good.
Steamed BBQ Pork Buns - love me some buns. These were ok. The bbq pork filling was not exploding with flavor as I'd hoped to balance the dull sweetness of the buns.
Chinese Sticky Rice Tamale - Again, the filling was very bland, it was hard to separate the flavor of the rice from the chicken filling.
Beijing Pork (half) - The half portion was more than enough. It was ok... comes with two buns. Wasn't amazed by it and probably wouldn't order again. Just a whisper of flavor. -

I recently decided to go to this place and I'm so glad I found it. The food is delicious and I love that there is an Americanized menu and authentic Szechuan menu. The restaurant isn't huge but it's nice and the service is great too. I got the moo goo gai pan, which was so good. We also got kung pao tofu (soft tofu) and singapore noodles, which are one of my favorites. I will definitely be a repeat customer! Also lots of parking too!

Finally a Szechuan restaurant in the Valley, and one that accommodates vegetarians. Most of the dishes can be made without meat. We had the green bean roll, which was a flaky flat bread (Chinese onion pancake) wrapped around fried veggies seasoned with a full-flavored sauce. The spicy potato slaw was wonderfully simple-- just crunchy shreds of slightly steamed potato covered in Szechuan pepper oil. The bamboo shoot and tofu dish was perfect without the meat; there was no absence of flavor.
Prices were pretty low and entree portions were large. The only drawback was the slow and disorganized service. I think they might have been under- staffed, and we were there during dinnertime takeout rush hour. We will just have to come later next time.
